Elector organizations will be required to register with Elections BC as of Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Elector organizations are also known as civic or municipal political parties. They promote a candidate or group of candidates during a local election.
A list of registered elector organizations will be available on our website after December 1. Registered elector organizations will be required to file annual financial reports with Elections BC, the first set of which will be due on March 31, 2022.
