Candidate Representatives

Candidates are not permitted to be present at any voting place while voting is being conducted — except to vote. Candidate representatives are appointed to observe voting and voter registrations, ensure the requirements of the Election Act are followed, and to observe ballot counting to make sure it is consistent and fair.
