Referendum on electoral system reform
Elections BC will be administering voting for the 2018 Referendum on Electoral Reform, under the provisions of the Electoral Reform Referendum 2018 Act.
The referendum will be conducted through mail-in ballot. Voting must close no later than November 30, 2018. More details about how to vote in the referendum will be posted on our website as they become available.
The Ministry of Attorney General is conducting a public consultation process about electoral reform in B.C. Learn more at engage.gov.bc.ca/howwevote.

Kelowna West by-election
The seat in the Legislative Assembly for the electoral district of Kelowna West is currently vacant. Under the Constitution Act, a by-election must be called no later than February 3, 2018. In a provincial by-election, General Voting Day is 28 days after the by-election is called.
Eligible voters who are residents of Kelowna West can register or update their information online at elections.bc.ca/ovr until midnight on the day the by-election is called. They can also register or update their information when they vote.
