Expenses Limits

Political parties, candidates, and third party election advertising sponsors are subject to expenses limits. Expenses limits for the 2024 Provincial Election apply during the campaign period, which runs from September 21 until voting closes on October 19.

Expenses limits are calculated on the day an election is called based on changes to the Consumer Price Index. Below are estimates of the limits for the 2024 Provincial Election. These estimates are calculated using the CPI for March 2024. The next estimate will be available on June 25, 2024.

The final limits will be published on September 21.
