You will still be able to register or update your information when you vote, but the voting process will take longer.|

Completed vote-by-mail packages must be received by Elections BC by 8 p.m. Pacific time.
Preliminary voting results will be reported after 8 p.m.

All absentee ballots are counted.
Preparations for final count and the final count itself may take more time depending on the number of mail-in ballots. Preparations for final count take place between General Voting Day and the start of final count.
|Monday, November 16||Return day||Writs of election are returned to the Chief Electoral Officer ending the election period. This day may occur later if final count takes longer (see above).|
|Friday, January 22||Financing report filing deadline||Deadline for political parties, candidates, and third party advertising sponsors to file election financing reports with Elections BC.|
