Media Advisory: Supplementary Annual Financial Reports Available

VICTORIA – Supplementary annual financial reports have been published in the Financial Reports and Political Contributions system (FRPC).

The document at the link below shows the political party annual financial reports that have been amended since March 1, 2017. Election financing reports from the political parties listed may also have been amended to reflect the same updated information.

The document at the link below shows the number of returned contributions and their value by party, and the number of contributions where the contributor has been changed and the value of their contributions by party.

Supplementary information is published in FRPC’s searchable political contributions database on an ongoing basis as it is received and processed by Elections BC. Prior to General Voting Day for the 41st Provincial General Election, amendments to scanned annual financial reports and the summaries provided above will be updated on the dates below to reflect any additional information received by Elections BC.

Under section 212 of the Election Act, a supplementary financial report must be filed with Elections BC within 30 days after a financial agent, or the individual or organization for whom the original report was filed, becomes aware that:

  • information disclosed in the report has changed, or
  • the original report did not completely or accurately disclose the required information.

Every scanned original and amended report published in FRPC can be searched for at http://contributions.electionsbc.gov.bc.ca/pcs/FRSearch.aspx.
