VICTORIA – Candidate disclosure statements for the 2019 Sooke By-election are now available on the Elections BC website:

Under the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, disclosure statements must be filed with B.C.’s Chief Electoral Officer within 90 days after General Voting Day. The filing deadline for the 2019 Sooke By-election was 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019. The statements include expenses of each filer and information regarding contributions they received.

Elections BC’s Financial Reports and Political Contributions System allows the public to search and download campaign contribution data and view scanned images of disclosure statements filed under the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act.

A disclosure statement for the following candidate was not filed by the deadline established by the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act. The statement may be filed by January 27, 2020, with a late filing fee of $500.
