Media Advisory: 2019 Fraser Cascade School District (SD78) By-Election Disclosure Statements Available

VICTORIA – Candidate disclosure statements for the 2019 Fraser Cascade School District (SD78) By-election are available for public inspection on the Elections BC website (elections.bc.ca/lecf) and at Elections BC, Suite 100 – 1112 Fort Street, Victoria.

Under the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, disclosure statements must be filed with B.C.’s Chief Electoral Officer within 90 days after General Voting Day for a local by-election. The filing deadline for the 2019 Fraser Cascade School District (SD78) By-election was 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019. The statements include expenses of each filer and information regarding contributions they received.

Elections BC’s Financial Reports and Political Contributions System allows the public to search and download campaign contribution data and view scanned images of disclosure statements filed under the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act.

A disclosure statement for the following candidate was not filed by the deadline established by the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act. The statement may be filed by November 25, 2019, with a late filing fee of $500.
