Disclosure Statements Available for Cancelled Local By-elections and Referendum

Disclosure statements are now available for local by-elections and a referendum (assent vote) cancelled due to COVID-19.

By-elections in Victoria and Rossland and a referendum in Kamloops were cancelled due to public health concerns. These events had been scheduled for April 4, 2020. Participants were still required to file disclosure statements by July 3, including information on campaign financing, election advertising and campaign contributions.

These events will be rescheduled by the local jurisdiction. Questions regarding rescheduling should be directed to the local jurisdiction or the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
