2022 General Local Elections – Late Disclosure Reports and Candidate Disqualification List Available

VICTORIA – Outstanding campaign financing disclosure statements for the 2022 General Local Elections are now available on the Elections BC website.

These reports were filed by the late filing deadline of February 13, 2023, along with the required $500 late filing fee. A list of late filers with links to their disclosure statements is available here:

Forty-eight candidates failed to file their disclosure statement by the late filing deadline. Per the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, these candidates are disqualified from being nominated for, elected to or holding a local authority office in B.C. until after the next general local elections, scheduled for October 17, 2026.
