VICTORIA – The 2019 annual financial reports for provincial political parties and constituency associations are now available:
The filing deadline for the reports was extended from March 31, 2020 to April 30, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The reports contain the following information:
Political parties must also disclose contributions made to the party, its constituency associations and its candidates, where the combined amount is more than $250.
Some information in these reports may have been disclosed previously, if the party was required to file interim reports in 2019.
Twenty five reports were required to be filed by the April 30, 2020 deadline. All entities filed on time, except two that were granted extensions due to extenuating circumstances:
