About the role

The Administrative and Accounting Assistant provides a variety of administrative and financial support services to different employee groups at Elections BC. Under the direction of the Financial Analyst, this position supports the Finance and Administration work unit’s day-to-day operations, which include coordinating the logistics for meetings and events, scheduling maintenance services for our facilities, processing payments, reconciling reports and preparing journal vouchers, among other duties.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be immediately eligible to accept employment in Canada.

Education and experience:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent education/training and recent (within the last 2 years) relevant experience*

      *Recent, related experience must include:

      • One year of experience working in a fast-paced, high volume office environment,.
      • Experience using computer programs such as Microsoft Office suite to develop spreadsheets, create correspondence and maintain databases.
      • Experience providing customer service and/or program and administrative coordination services.
