What is a Provincial General Election?

In a provincial general election, eligible voters in B.C. vote to elect their Member of the Legislative Assembly. Each Member represents an electoral district (also known as a riding or constituency) and has a seat in the provincial Legislature. There are 87 electoral districts in B.C.
