New Rules for the 2018 General Local Elections
The Local Elections Campaign Financing Act has been amended to change the campaign financing rules for local elections in B.C. These changes apply to the 2018 General Local Elections that will be held on October 20, 2018. Read this bulletin (PDF) for more information.
Amendments to the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act do not apply to by-elections and assent voting held before the 2018 General Local Elections.
