Media Advisory: 2017 Metchosin Boundary Adjustment Non-election Assent Voting Disclosure Statements Available

VICTORIA – The 2017 Metchosin Boundary Adjustment Non-election Assent Voting disclosure statements of advertising sponsors are available for public inspection on the Elections BC website (elections.bc.ca/lecfa) and at Elections BC, Suite 100 – 1112 Fort Street, Victoria.

Under the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, disclosure statements must be filed with B.C.’s Chief Electoral Officer within 90 days after General Voting Day. The filing deadline for the 2017 Metchosin Boundary Adjustment Non-election Assent Voting was 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017. The statements include advertising expenses of each filer and information regarding contributions they received.
