Coquitlam-Burke Mountain and Vancouver-Mount Pleasant by-election candidates confirmed

VICTORIA – Nominations of candidates for the Coquitlam-Burke Mountain and Vancouver-Mount Pleasant by-elections closed at 1 p.m. today.

There are four candidates nominated as follows in Coquitlam-Burke Mountain:

• GEDDES, Paul
  Libertarian
• ISAACS, Joan
  BC Liberal Party
• KEITHLEY, Joe
  BC Green Party
• WICKENS, Jodie
  BC NDP

There are five candidates nominated as follows in Vancouver-Mount Pleasant:

• DEW, Gavin
  BC Liberal Party
• FRY, Pete
  BC Green Party
• GUSTAFSON, Jeremy
  YPP
• HU, Bonnie Boya
  Libertarian
• MARK, Melanie
  BC NDP

Advance voting is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, January 23 and 24, and Wednesday, January 27 through Saturday, January 30. General Voting Day is Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters can vote during office hours at district electoral offices until 4 p.m. on General Voting Day.
