Learning Products Developer (1 position)

Temporary, full-time under the Election Act
from September 2017 to June 2018
$22.60 – $25.58 per hour, experience dependent

Elections BC is looking for a bright, dedicated, detail-oriented and self-motivated team player to apply their experience with eLearning software and other educational technologies to design, develop and populate custom web-based and face-to-face learning products. The Learning Products Developer (LPD) will work with a team of subject matter experts to create and deliver a variety of high-quality learning products for online and classroom delivery. The LPD will apply technical software skills to create interactive multimedia presentations and provide post-deployment support. The ideal applicant enjoys working closely with internal employees to create various learning products including web-based modules, scenarios and PowerPoint presentations; demonstrates passion for best practices in instructional design; and possesses strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven top-notch graphic design, content layout and multimedia production skills. Previous professional work experience with Articulate Storyline is preferred.

Elections BC is a non-partisan Office of the Legislature responsible for administering electoral processes in British Columbia in accordance with the Election Act, Recall and Initiative Act, Referendum Act and Local Elections Campaign Financing Act.
