What is Elections BC doing to help voters get on the list?
Voter registration notices
In February and March over 1.9 million voter registration notices are being sent to addresses across the province. The notices ask voters to go online or call Elections BC if the voter registration information for their address is incorrect.
In March, registration drives are being held in malls, campuses, community centres and other high traffic locations throughout B.C.
Door to door registration
In March, Elections BC enumerators will be going door-to-door in new developments and high-mobility areas to provide voter registration services and information about the election.
Community outreach and partnerships
We’re working with partner organizations and conducting speaking engagements across the province to raise awareness about the election, ensure an accessible and inclusive electoral process, and encourage eligible voters to make sure they’re on the voters list.
